Line Cook/ Prep Cook

Job description/responsibilities: 

• Works under the Founder, Owner, and Executive Chef. 
• Must be able to prep and cook food according to recipe and demonstrations while exercising portion control.
• Must be knowledgeable of food safety, sanitation, and product quality, as well as foodservice practices and procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines governing public health and consumer health and safety.
• Must be able to collaborate with guests, peers, vendors,  visitors, and other affiliates and supporters of the company.
• Must be able to operate a POS System and understand the sequence of menu items. 
• Prepare meals in accordance with a standardized menu and special diet orders.

  Job requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years of  age.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 pounds
• 1-2 years experience as a cook
• Cuisine Cooking experience preferred (casual dining restaurant, hotel kitchens, French cooking)
• Food Handler Certificate required
• Culinary training/degree a plus

 Marco’s Pepper Grill is a for-profit, Food Trailer and Concessions Company  serving exotic dishes and casual menu items across three cuisines---Cajun & Creole, Southwest, and Caribbean; located 403 EATS Food Truck Park just pass Cypress/ Spring in Tomball, Texas. Marco’s Pepper Grill is a startup venture, which previously operated as a restaurant in 2012 in the state of Oregon. Managed and operated by the Founder/ Chef, Marco’s Pepper Grill is seeking aspiring chefs to take part in an opportunity for growth and longevity.
